Inspiring The Minds Of Tomorrow
Meet Quentin Morris!
“We are all students in life. Life experiences are informative. But the skills necessary to meet life’s challenges can only be found in the exploration of other’s experiences and instruction. Education should be enabling and facilitate advancement based on accomplishment. As your next School Board director, my goal is to provide each child with the educational skills needed to navigate life, achieving accomplishments that bring them success.”
– Quentin Morris
Professional History
Quentin retired as Executive Director of Sales from The Boeing Company in 2019 after 41 years of
uninterrupted service. He began as an entry level Technical Aide at Kent Space Center in 1978 supporting the engineering staff in developing space exploration systems. After working full time and attending classes in
Seattle, Quentin achieved his engineering degree. He applied his degree to complex systems analysis and
mechanical design. His work ethic, communication and people skills were noticed by senior management who sponsored him to represent Boeing in Washington, DC in 1987.
Quentin used this opportunity to achieve an
MBA at the George Washington University. In 1993, Quentin returned to the Pacific Northwest to begin his
career in Commercial Airplanes by regulatory affairs management and working with the FAA to developing the engineering bases of the next generation of Boeing aircraft (737NG, 757-300, and 777).

His continued success in sales took him around the world working in several diverse cultural regions, including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and North America.
Connected To The Community
Quentin attended Thomas Jefferson High School where he was a member of the first graduating class to attend the school for all 3 years. Quentin and Kim, his wife of 42 years, currently reside in the community of Federal Way, their home for over 30 years. In 2012, Quentin began tutoring after business hours in a nearby Public Library. He was dismayed to find so many children being advanced through public schools without mastering the prerequisites to be in the grade levels their homework reflected. This experience left a profound and lasting impression.
Quentin wants better for our students.
